What is your Employee Value Proposition?

Your Employee Value Proposition (EVP) is your unique mix of benefits for your team. Put simply, it’s the “what’s in it for me” element for your employees, both existing and prospective.



Your EVP is a powerful tool in your recruitment toolbox because it sends a clear message why your business is different to others, highlighting your core values and unique selling points. It’s more than salary alone, it combines elements which contribute to the employees’ overall work experience including:

  • Training and career development
  • A supportive environment
  • Flexibility
  • Benefits which align with their individual needs


Your EVP should simple and consistent in its message.
