Due to an internal promotion, CEDA is seeking an experienced marketer to join the team, in supporting the marketing of the region as a great place to visit, live, work, and do business.

In this varied role, you'll help deliver a wide range of marketing projects and campaigns that showcase Palmerston North and Manawatū to local, national, and international audiences. Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders, you'll coordinate campaigns, develop engaging content, build strong relationships, and support initiatives that promote our region's opportunities and strengths.

No two days are the same. You could be supporting a talent attraction campaign, creating marketing resources for businesses, contributing to investment attraction activities, or helping promote major regional projects. This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys managing multiple projects, working collaboratively, and turning ideas into action.

You'll bring strong organisation skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience delivering marketing activities across a variety of channels. Most importantly, you'll be someone who is proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic about making a positive impact for our region.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver marketing campaigns that promote Palmerston North and Manawatū
• Development and evaluation of multi-channel marketing activity
• Manage projects from planning through to reporting
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and partners
• Support CEDA programmes, initiatives, and events
• Develop marketing content and collateral

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 3 + years' experience in marketing or communications
• Experience delivering multi-channel campaigns
• Strong digital marketing and content skills
• Confident stakeholder and relationship management
• Strong organisation and project coordination skills
• Relevant tertiary qualification preferred
