We're seeking an experienced HR Manager to join George Hospitality Group management team in a newly created role, offering the opportunity to truly shape and develop the HR function as the business continues to grow.

Leading HR across a team of 250, you'll be hands on and visible, partnering with leaders and teams to provide practical support across the full generalist spectrum, including performance, conduct, coaching, engagement, team development and workplace culture.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, building strong relationships and driving continuous improvement, with the ability to influence how HR is delivered across a dynamic, customer focused hospitality group.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide practical advice across performance, conduct, coaching and engagement
• Lead employment relations matters end-to-end, ensuring fair and compliant outcomes
• Develop and maintain H&S policies, supporting compliance and a proactive safety culture
• Build strong relationships through regular onsite presence and support
• Foster collaboration, communication and continuous improvement across teams
• Align workforce planning and capability with operational needs
• Manage recruitment and onboarding, maintaining HR systems and insights

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Strong knowledge of HR legislation, compliance and H&S practices
• Highly organised, able to manage priorities and perform under pressure
• Proven leadership, able to influence, guide and delegate
• Hands on and solutions focused, with a proactive approach
• Approachable and relatable, with confidence to set clear expectations
• Customer focused, delivering responsive and practical support
