RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce accurate SolidWorks models and detailed technical drawings
• Translate concepts and sketches into manufacturable designs
• Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and workshop teams
• Ensure designs meet functional, safety, and manufacturing requirements
• Contribute to design improvements and problem-solving across projects

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks and technical drawing/design
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and manufacturing requirements
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Practical understanding of fabrication or workshop environments
• Experience in food production or processing environments advantageous

Advanced Engineering Solutions (AES) was established in 2004 by Brendan McKay following his experience in the meat industry, recognising an opportunity to specialise in problem-solving and the ongoing development of meat processing plants.

Based in Feilding, AES provides engineering products and services to clients throughout New Zealand and internationally. The team has delivered solutions for local processing plants, secured long-term maintenance contracts, and supplied equipment as far as Chile.
