About the role 

A business to homeowner sales position, travelling mainly locally, to meet with and conscientiously advise organically sourced customers. Suited to a cheerful, self motivated professional, with an interest in construction or renovation.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

• 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday. Your daily appoints are organised for you
• Travel locally (mostly one hour or less from the office), to customers' homes
• Arrive promptly at scheduled appointment times to consult with homeowners about their joinery needs
• Advise on available offerings for both replacement joinery and retrofitting double glazing. This includes options around colours, profiles, processes etc
• Basic measuring for quoting purposes (technical measurements for manufacturing will be done by the install team, once the job is confirmed)
• Quoting may come later, but initially this will be done by the experienced team around you
• Follow up on quotes and enquiries, offering top notch service and proactively confirming opportunities

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• A positive, polite and friendly manner - easily building rapport with a varied customer base
• Clean and tidy presentation - you are the face for Fisher Manawatu and going into customers' homes
• Experience or interest in construction, renovation or joinery would be advantageous
• Proven experience with autonomy and personal time management at work
• A full drivers license
