Procurement Coordinator - 4-month Temporary Contract

A 4-month temporary contract to support the Procurement and Contracts team in updating their approved goods lists. Our ideal person will have some exposure to procurement process in a government setting, and a strong administration and coordination capability.

This offers full time hours, with up to two days as WFH, once up and running.

The mission: With the support of the wider team as needed; review and renew approved goods lists, engage suppliers, and run a closed RFQ process in line with NZGP rules.

In this role, you'll bring your prior experience in Procurement to:

  • Support end-to-end procurement processes, including preparing RFQs and coordinating evaluations
  • Help maintain procurement templates and reporting
  • Leverage your relationship skills to work closely with both internal stakeholders and suppliers

You'll collaborate with the Procurement & Contracts Manager and support continuous improvement across policies and templates.
