This your opportunity to join the team at Manfeild Park as the Facilities Maintenance/Safety Senior Officer.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of event preparation and execution, from ground preparation and repair to event pack-in and pack-out, and overall maintenance planning and support. Your hands-on approach will not only lead the team but also set an example, ensuring that Manfeild Park maintains its reputation as an outstanding event venue.

Collaborating with direct reports and external contractors, you will contribute to the progressive maintenance plan that ensures the facilities are consistently 'best in class'. Additionally, you will champion safety practices across the facility, promoting a secure and efficient work environment.

What we are looking for in you:

• A formal trade certificate/qualification is desirable or  relevant transferrable skills.
• Forklift experience is essential, WTR license is ideal, and a clean full driver's license.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining machinery such as tractors, quad bikes, and implements.
• Safety training or qualification is essential.
• Skilful with handheld power tools.
• Physically fit and able.

The role is working 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, Friday alternating with a weekend day as rostered. Any hours worked over 37.5 can be taken in Lieu.
