Welder/Tradesperson

Our client is needing the services of a welder/tradesperson for a temporary measure for several weeks.
Working full time, Monday to Friday, main duties will include, but not limited to, operating machines like drills, saws and presses, plus mig welding.
A family owned and operated farm machinery manufacturer located on the Palmerston North boundary are looking for the right person to join their existing team as a temporary tradesperson for the next couple of months.
You would need to be able to work full time, Monday to Friday, starting promptly at 7.30am every morning if not earlier when time requires. You will also need to have your own transport as location is slightly out of town. Holding a forklift licence would be a benefit however not essential.
Ideally you will be mechanically minded and it would be a benefit if you have an agricultural background but this is not a must have.
You will need to be co-ordinated and open minded, a team player and be able to work unsupervised. You will have an easy going attitude and be physically capable as lifting is required. A strong health and safety requirement within the field is a must, therefore you will be someone who is aware of your surroundings for safety purposes.
Main duties will include, but not limited to, operating machines like drills, saws and presses, plus mig welding.
You will process a ‘can do’ attitude, be confident in your work, have the enthusiasm and willingness to be a confident team player along with having attention to detail.
