Based in Whanganui, this is a great full time, hands on role working on a wide range of gas and pneumatic tools, this role would suit a mechanic or a very knowledgeable handy person.
Working for Delfast, a leading New Zealand Wholesaler, the Service Technician is responsible for the servicing of all tools within their range of gas and pneumatic tools, for either an annual service or a repair.
This is a full time position, working 40 hour per week, Monday to Friday, operating in your own workshop, all tools supplied.

As the Service Technician, you will be technically and mechanically able to service all tools to a high standard, giving the customer not only a quick turnaround but also giving the tool back looking brand new.
You will be responsible for logging the job in, itemising any new parts required and allocating your time to each job on their system.
Snapshot of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Logging the tool into the Computer system, tagging and tool service allocation
- Analyse the fault/issue found
- Ordering of parts
- Notifying the client of progress/timeframes
- Complete job, clean and labelled
- Despatched by courier to client
Skills and Experience we require:
- Mechanical knowledge on power tool servicing
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Passionate, hands on worker
- Can do attitude with a focus on the client giving exceptional service, whether on the phone or in person
- Computer literate
