Totally Vets offers a comprehensive on-farm and in-clinic veterinary service for household pets and farmers in the region - nothing is too big or too small. In addition to their New Zealand operation, Totally Vets has long-term contracts for international veterinary services.
Based in the Feilding Head Office, you will be responsible for ensuring that the financial health and commercial success of the Totally Vets Group is optimized. Your proven experience in developing and implementing governance processes for financial management will enable you to maximise results for stakeholders in this complex and growing business. We are looking for someone who is skilled in problem solving analysis and solutions in the areas of finance, procurement and business management.
You will be an effective communicator who builds trust and develops collaborative working relationships, as you will work extremely closely with the CEO and be part of the Senior Management team. Building rapport with staff will ensure effective and cohesive day-to-day communication will occur with the branches and clinic managers, and will assist with providing clear leadership for the finance and procurement team.
Areas of responsibility:
- Financial forecasting, budgets, cash-flow
- Maximise commercial success
- Produce detailed financial reporting
- Policy and Statutory Compliance
- Actively manage risk management framework
- Focus on efficiencies and streamlining of processes
Skills and experience you will possess:
- Experience in a commercial finance-based role
- Member of CAANZ desirable
- Problem analysis and solutions focused
- Effective communicator
- Manage time, prioritise, and work effectively under pressure
- Produce and present detailed financial reporting
- Agricultural sector experience would be an advantage
