A family owned and operated farm machinery manufacturer located on the Palmerston North boundary are looking for the right person to join their existing team as a temporary fabrication labourer for the next couple of months.
You would need to be able to work full time, Monday to Friday, starting promptly at 7.30am every morning if not earlier when required. You will also need to have your own transport as location is slightly out of town.
Holding a forklift licence would be a benefit however not essential. Ideally you will be mechanically minded and it would be a benefit if you have an agricultural background, but this is not a must have.
You will need to be co-ordinated and open minded, a team player and be able to work unsupervised. You will have an easy going aptitude and physically capable as lifting is required. A strong health and safety requirement within the field is a must, therefore you will be someone who is aware of your surroundings for safety purposes.
Main duties will include, but not limited to, operating machines such as drills, saws and presses. Training will be given, as you may not have had a huge experience in the above, but you do have to have the right 'can do' attitude, be confident in your work, have the enthusiasm and willingness to learn and are quick to pick up new skills along with having attention to detail.
If this sounds like something you would like to know more about, please attach an updated CV including 2 work related referees and Christine will be in contact.
