Our client is one of the largest suppliers of hire suits and accessories in New Zealand and is currently requiring the assistance of an experienced hand sewer for making a variety of alterations from hand, utilising a standard machine along with blind hemming.
The hours of this part time temporary assignment are Monday and Tuesday only from 8.30am to 5.30pm, for approximately one month.
If you have factory garment experience this would be a benefit as your work must be faultless.

Duration: 3 months plus
Location: Pahiatua
Based in Pahiatua, this temporary assignment is for an immediate start with a duration of up to 3 months or more, sales dependent. This is a full time role with the hours being Monday to Thursday, 7.30am - 5.00pm and Friday, being from 7.30am - 3.00pm.
We require a focused team player, with proven experience as an expert in their field of plain sewing. You will be required to complete work on wet weather garments by joining external seams along with top stitching using a standard machine. Your workmanship will be of a very high standard along with your own presentation.
The hourly rate for this position is $13.25 plus 8% holiday pay, total being $14.31 per hour.

Picker/Packers and Merchandisers
Duration: ASAP until the end of March 2010
Location: Palmerston North
I have several temporary roles available for Picker/Packers and Merchandisers starting asap until the end of March 2010.
To be successful in these roles you will be committed, be a team player, have an excellent attendance record and work ethic, flexible with your hours of work, have excellent health and a can do give it a go attitude. Full training will be provided however if you have previous picker/packer or merchandising experience in a warehousing environment this would be an advantage.

Our client is a Timber wholesaler who specialises in niche timbers, supplying both national and international customers. They require someone who holds a current forklift license along with having timber experience and who is prepared to work hard and be a part of a loyal team.
This temporary assignment is for immediate start, working Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm. As heavy lifting will be required you will need to be physically fit with no past back injuries, able to work independently as well as within a team, show initiative and go that extra mile.

Warehouse Binner
Duration:Starting January 2010 for 3 months +
Location: Palmerston North
We have a fantastic hands-on opportunity for you to be part of a busy, energetic and fun team where you will be responsible for binning stock productively and accurately for the world's second largest manufacturer of automobiles.
This position provides you with the chance to keep physically fit while working in a professional environment that has the latest tools and resources available to you. The hours of work are up to 40 hours per week between 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
