My client, one of Palmerston North's largest Research facilities may have the need in the future for a Design/Draughting Technician for a temporary assignment, which could be for a period of three months or longer.
You would be responsible for supporting research projects by providing engineering design solutions/draughting capabilities and when appropriate, project leadership skills. Additionally, this position has responsibility for supporting the maintenance and development department by providing design and draughting expertise including drawing and documentation management.
You must have an advanced trade certificate, a diploma in project management along with CAD Draughting experience to an advanced level.
Ideally if you also have food industry and cost estimation experience this would be an advantage.
The hours for this potential need would be Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. You would be working in a team environment and being answerable to the Maintenance and Design Manager, whilst having relationships with all internal staff as well as external service providers, engineering suppliers and design cosultants.
This position may suit someone who is currently coming to the end of their studies who holds the relevant experience required.

Our client is a market leader in the Lower North Island providing electrical solutions to the Industrial, Commercial and Governmental sectors.
They currently have a temporary need for people with a strong industrial electrical skill set for projects currently being completed in Palmerston North along with the Levin area. You will be working Monday to Friday and if working in Levin, travel is provided by the company from Palmerston North.

My client is requiring the services of an experienced Chef to come on board and take control to run their kitchen on Friday and Saturdays evenings. Hours being from 5pm to last orders, being around 8pm at present.
You will need to hold your 167 qualification as a minimum and if you have your 168 qualification plus your liquor licence this would be a huge bonus!
This is a temporary assignment commencing mid September for approximately six weeks, with the possibility of this extending with more hours for the right person.

You will need to be an independent worker and proficient in MYOB Accountants Office. Completing GST returns, coding in banklink and being able to be a support person for our client is a must. You will have fast and accurate work ethics and need to be extremely organised to be the right fit for this small firm.
Along with the accounting side of this role, you will also understand and be able to offer administration support. From sending out tax reminder letters to being the front of house person during the required days for the business.

My client is looking for a positive and able team player to come on board and is also requiring a supervisory side to them to keep the orders going out on time. You must be a self motivator, physically fit and be a logical thinker.
A must have is to be good with figures and numbers as you will be reading and organising the orders, with frequent last minute changes to deal with.
The hours for this temporary opportunity can change, however it is normally from 4pm - 7pm with the required days set being Thursday, Friday and Sunday. You will therefore be 110% reliable be able to commit fully to this opportunity.
